In cooperation with Deutsche Bahn, HFG launches the serialization of wheelset bearings. For this, HFG marks the components with DB\u00b4s worldwide unique GS1 asset numbers (GIAI) within the reconditioning process. Hereby, the safety relevant bearings can be individually tracked and traced at any time. In addition , individual supply chain and operating data can be gathered and saved throughout the whole life cycle- an important step towards a higher transparency and operational safety.
